Prince Arthur (Bradley James)
Arthur is the future King of Camelot, the brave but good hearted son of King Uther. It was said that at that time, Lady Igraine was unable to bear a child so King Uther asked the powerful sorceress Nimueh, to help them conceive one. Unfortunately, Nimueh did not inform them of the rules of the Old Religion which was: for a life created, a life must be taken. Thus, Lady Igraine died while giving birth. It was for this reason that King Uther banished the practice of magic throughout his Kingdom.
It was said that Arthur was the best knight in Camelot. Ever since he can walk, Arthur was trained for combat. In the present, he oversees the training and maintenance of the other knights in the kingdom. Although being the best makes him to o confident and arrogant at times, there is no question that Arthur has a good heart and genuinely cares for his family, friends and the people of Camelot.
Prince Arthur is portrayed by the actor Bradley James. Bradley was born on October 11, 1983 in Exeter, Devon. He has trained at Drama Centre London and has appeared at several TV series including Lewis, Portobello 196, and Dis/Connected.
