The end episode of the season was a grand one. It had the lot; excellent combat and sword-fights, a lot of happenings involving Merlin and Arthur and several impressive moments. It was a remarkable performance by Colin Morgan. You will love the character with his super act and unbelievable mimics. I also relished the change in the relation between Merlin and Arthur.

We observe an Arthur, who is troubled about Merlin throughout the episode. Further, Arthur becomes conscious that he likes the companionship of Merlin and there is a budding friendship between them. This is a very important happening and since I loved this event, I feel that Merlin should confess the rather innocent secret about Balinor. It seems that the secrets among Merlin and Arthur continue to amass and there will be a point when nothing could be done. I mean the chasm between them would be very huge that Arthur may not ever trust Merlin. In any case, Arthur has no knowledge about Merlin and I think this is a little unjust.

Now, what I consider extremely unkind, the interminable wait for the coming season. I am really concerned about Morgana and it would be a pleasure to anticipate episodes connected with her. Previously, episodes involving Morgana were somewhat dull. Hence, I am pleased that the scriptwriters have done a good job. It would be splendid to watch her in the next season.

Besides, there are a lot of imponderables. Merlin requires assistance with magic as the dragon is unavailable. Arthur should gain a great deal more about Merlin. I only hope the coming season would be great one.
