Read the full story »According to reports, Colin Morgan has denied rumors of a possible Merlin one off special show or a movie in future.
The BBC primetime cult drama had ended with its fifth season in 2012. Co creator of the show Julian Murphy had hinted at a movie trilogy of the show.
But while talking to reporters, Colin Morgan, star of Merlin has said that he was not favorable to the idea as he wants his acting to be a challenge.
He has confessed that he did not think it would be breaking rules, if he said that there will be no longer any Merlin shows.
He went on to say that it would be like being in a static and he wanted to be versatile and work in challenging roles.
He also has said that he had devoted five years of his life to Merlin and enjoyed every moment, and had had a good time. But said that he would be lying, if he said he wanted more.
Morgan is presently working in The Tempest of Shakespeare’s Globe and will be seen in the BBC drama, Quirke later in the year with Gabriel Byrne.
